WeldWerks is calling the 2023 Medianoche “bigger and more complex than ever before!”
To make it, the crew blended their traditional Medianoche base with wheated, rye, long-boiled, and short-boiled variants. Then they aged them for 24-30 months in some of the very best barrels in their cellar. We’re talking Buffalo Trace Warehouse X Experimental Bourbon, Law’s Whiskey House Rye, Eagle Rare Bourbon, Old Fitzgerald Bourbon, Old Elk Bourbon, Wheated Weller, Weller 12 Bourbon, Breckenridge Bourbon, AND Templeton 10-year Rye!
Tasting Notes
The intensely rich body delivers luxurious notes of oaky caramel and whiskey spice swimming through fudgy, dark malts. Vanilla nuances mingle with pecan praline tones like lightly toasted marshmallows while a whisper of cinnamon graces each incredibly complex taste.
