About This Beer
To make this stunning Stout, the crew let their rich and roasty base luxuriate in Buffalo Trace Bourbon Barrels for 28 Months and in a Weller Wheated Bourbon Barrel for 19 Months. Then they conditioned it all on Tugboat Coffee Sumatra coffee and Vermont maple syrup.
Tasting Notes
Each sip sings with treacly molasses, raisin, and maple notes. It’s a bit like chasing a syrup-drizzled pancake with a shot of bourbon. A thumping espresso bassline hammers underneath, masterfully accentuating the malts, while a kiss of whiskey and oak crescendo on the finish. And it’s all hiding a bold 14.22% ABV!
