About This Beer
The Bruery drew inspiration from decadent German chocolate banana cake to craft 2econd (2024). They began with their Bayonet Stout recipe as a base, laying a fudgy foundation for two rounds of barrel aging and rich additions of toasted coconut, cacao nibs, banana, and Tahitian vanilla.
Tasting Notes
Expect the time this brew spent in bourbon and rum barrels to give each sip layers of caramel and molasses amid tones of crème caramel and dark-chocolate-dipped macaroons. Look for silky ‘nana nuances weaving throughout before it all ends with a dash of boozy sweetness.
