About This Beer
To create this vinous, fruity beer, the brewers blended multiple vintages of two different kinds of Lambic — one flavored with tart cherries, the other with Dornfelder grapes. The blend contains beer from nine different barrels, produced during nine different brews, ranging from very young to over two years old.
Tasting Notes
After a combined eight months on the fruit, the beer’s ruby-hued depths hold flavors of dark stone fruit and vinous tannins. The tangy body conceals nuances of wild funk from native yeasts, ending in a touch of oaky complexity.
