About This Beer
To craft this 6th anniversary celebration, the brewers hand selected bourbon barrels that previously held one of their biggest, most caramelly Stouts to date. They aged the brew for two full years in the barrels before resting the brew on Amburana. This Brazilian oak introduces spice and vanilla notes so vivid, you’d think the New Image crew used adjuncts –– but it’s all from the oak!
Tasting Notes
Velvety currents of dark cocoa, whiskey caramel, and graham cracker surge through every sip. A rum-like coconut oak rises on the end, all hiding an enormous 16% ABV.
