About This Beer
For the 2025 release of this seminal sipper, Gabe Fletcher and his team blended two vintages of Quad Oaked ADWTD! Each started with the same luxurious Barleywine base. By the end, the blend had spend a total of 42 months in oak in some combination of Elijah Craig 13-year bourbon, Old Fitzgerald 6-year bourbon, Calumet Farms 15-year bourbon, Heaven Hill 15-year malt whiskey, and a New Riff single cask bourbon barrel picked by friends at the neighboring Italian restaurant, Fiori D’Italia.
Tasting Notes
Anticipate opulent monkey bread tones to course through every chewy quaff, with gooey caramel and cinnamon tones cascading into notes of vanilla oak. Dried fruit and char should carry on the end, expertly masking that enormous 22.87% ABV.
