About This Beer
Gabe Fletcher and his team took their decadent Barleywine base and aged it for 37 months in spirit soaked oak. They started by racking it into Old Fitzgerald 6-year bourbon barrels, then transferred it to Calumet Farm 15-year bourbon barrels. Finally, they finished it with a stint in one Heaven Hill 15-year malt whiskey barrel.
Tasting Notes
Expect every sumptuous sip to flow with rivers of toffee, date, and caramel. Toasty oak and dark fruit nuances should weave throughout, while a whisper of tobacco leads into subtle whiskey spice on the finish.
