A Note on This Beer

You know it, you love it — Anchorage’s A Deal with the Devil is without a doubt one of the most legendary Barleywines ever crafted.

And the luxurious triple-oaked versions are even more special, complex, and packed with more flavor than almost any other edition! Heck, every single release we’ve managed to get our hands on has earned staggering 4.60+ scores on the app!

This one spent a whopping 26 months in a mix of Willet bourbon and freshly-emptied cognac barrels. That’s over two years of soaking up intricate spirit and oak character.

Look forward to notes of chocolate-covered raisin and candied fig swirling over treacly hints of molasses. We anticipate all that time aging to imbue the back end with decadent pops of brandy, vanilla, and whiskey, keeping that boozy 19.22% ABV dangerously well-hidden.

Ready to cross this beer off your bucket list? You’ll want to act fast — quantities are extremely limited.

The Brewery:

Hands down, Anchorage Brewing is one of the most sought after breweries when it comes to boozy Dark Beers, Hazy IPAs, and tangy mixed fermentation Ales. Outside of Alaska, their brews are notoriously hard to find and fans clamor to get their hands on bottles of the most coveted sippers, like Deal with the Devil, Time Waits for No One, and Endless Ending. Anchorage’s impressive list of collabs — with top craft breweries like Tired Hands, Mikkeller, Hill Farmstead, and Monkish — is enough to make any in-the-know craft lover go weak in the knees. Best beer I’ve ever had having deep levels of bourbon booziness along with decadent brown sugar and thick molasses notes. The Cognac barrels add an extra deep fruity depth to the complexity

Let this one sit for just over a year. Incredibly smooth and rich.
