About This Beer
It starts with a velvety base made from local barley — plus caramel, chocolate, and roasted malts — and an extended slumber in freshly emptied bourbon barrels.
Here’s where things get seriously cool. Next, Fonta Flora asked TEN of their favorite Stout slingers to select an adjunct that best represents their brewery. Here’s what they got:
Eighth State - Cassia Bark, American Solera - Almonds, Anchorage - Oak, Angry Chair - Hazelnuts, Evil Twin - Marshmallow, Half Acre - Barrels, Perennial - Coffee, Private Press - Cacao, Veil - Vanilla, Weldwerks - Coconut
Tasting Notes
The final result’s nothing short of decadent! Rich nutty nuances accentuate lip-smacking crème brûlée, Almond Joy, baking spice, and mocha tones. Ripples of ‘mallow keep it all creamy and bolster the intricate wood char nuances swirling throughout.
