About This Beer
pFriem started with a soft, mixed culture Farmhouse Ale subtly hopped with aged Czech Saaz and matured for 10 months in French oak barrels. Then they conditioned the brew with 2.7 lbs per gallon of fresh apricots from their friends at Gunkel Orchards.
Tasting Notes
Each dry pour overflows with an aromatic tanginess that previews the notes of funk and stone fruit to come. On the taste, nuances of dried and underripe apricot weave through hints of hay and horse blanket, along with lemon pith, cantaloupe, and pineapple flourishes.
