I can vividly remember the first time I tasted Bananas Foster, because my life changed forever.

My spouse and I were at a fancy steakhouse with dim, romantic lighting and a live pianist. The waiter rolled up to our table with a silver cart, lit the bananas on fire right before our eyes, and topped the caramelized fruit with vanilla ice cream and a warm, mouth-watering sauce. 

With each velvety sip of Aggravated Murder: Banana Edition, I’m transported back to that rapturous moment in time. 

The innovative craft masters at Bombastic Brewing loaded this Imperial Stout with two additions of maple syrup — first in the boil, for the woodsy character of real maple, and again in the fermenter, for a whisper of syrupy sweetness. Then, they added copious amounts of creamy bananas and robust cold-pressed coffee. 

Bombastic only canned 7 barrels of this liquid dessert. So, if you want to treat your taste buds to a deluge of banana bliss, we suggest grabbing some quickly — who knows if they’ll brew this limited release again!
