About This Beer
Each year for their anniversary brew, Other Half crafts a boozy version of a birthday favorite. And this year’s All 9th Anniversary Everything is based on a rich and chocolatey Devil’s Food cake!
The crew began with a blend of Stouts that matured for 16 to 24 months in bourbon barrels. Then they conditioned it on cacao nibs and vanilla, before giving it a final swirl of creamy lactose.
Tasting Notes
Each smooth and syrupy gulp blooms with a balanced chocolatey sweetness and hints of cherry and hazelnut as it warms. Whispers of cinnamon, anise, and oak come through in the whiskey-laced finish.

Quality made brew, a little sweet for my palate, but not bad. The ABV is well hidden.
