A Note on This Beer
In honor of today’s beer, here’s All That I Have Learned about Adroit Theory:
They’re high ABV experts! Just take a look at today’s Russian Imperial Stout — it clocks in at a gargantuan 16.66% ABV. You’ll definitely feel this dark beast’s warmth, but you’ll barely taste all that booze on the way down.
They bring the flavor! Each opulent sip bursts with layer upon layer of rich espresso, sweet caramel, dark chocolate, and toasted hazelnut notes. A malty sweetness balances the roasty flavors beautifully, and it finishes shockingly smooth. This Imperial Stout is so complex, it demands to be savored. And, it’s dry enough that you could actually drink the whole bottle — assuming you don’t have any plans afterwards (don’t forget that ABV)!
Everybody wants a sip! All That I Have Learned (Ghost 986) is already sold out at the taproom. And, we have less than 20 cases for all of Tavour! Like every Dark Beer we get from Adroit, it won’t be around for long.
If you manage to snag a bottle, you’ll be one of the very few Stout fans outside of Virginia to actually taste the brew Adroit calls their “most complex, most robust Stout yet.”
Adroit Theory was one of The Beer Travel Guides Must Visit Breweries at last year’s Great American Beer Festival.
Tavour strictly supports independent beer. Adroit Theory Brewing Company is certified independent by the Brewers Association
