About This Beer
To make it, the crew at Mikerphone first formed a supergroup with their buddies at Toppling Goliath. Together, they aged a decadent Stout base for 26 months in two Buffalo Trace Bourbon barrels and one Willett Family Estate 17-Year Straight Bourbon barrel. Then they conditioned it on New Caledonia, Comoros, and Papa New Guinea Vanilla Beans, as well as three types of premium Columbian and Guatemalan Single Origin coffee beans from Daydream Coffee Company.
Tasting Notes
Each sip sings with notes of chocoalty mocha. Roasty malts hold it all together like a thumping bass line, while ribbons of vanilla conjure notes of whipped cream topping. A kiss of barrel char and top shelf whiskey linger on the palate following a velvety finish.
