Here’s what the brewers themselves had to say about this upcoming showstopper:
“When we sample our barrel inventory and assess the quality of the blending components, there are always standouts, barrels that distinguish themselves from the pack with nuances that make them beautiful and complex without any additional processing needed. When we find a handful of these barrels, we blend them to match their best features with counterparts from other standout barrels. The resulting blend then becomes Anaphora.”
Tasting Notes
Look forward to notes of pumpernickel bread melding beautifully with hints of toffee and crème brûlée. We expect intricate tobacco nuances to accentuate the layers of date and raisin before the sip gives way to pronounced notes of whiskey and oaky vanilla on the finish. And if past batches are any indication, the 14.24% ABV should be smoother than silk!
