About This Beer
To craft Another Regret, the duo started with one of Anchorage’s signature Double Dark Ales, this one aged 51 months in Willett rye and 15-Year 1792 Calumet Farms barrels. Then they blended it with Side Project’s Beer:Barrel:Time Imperial Stout, itself aged 32 months in Wild Turkey 8-Year barrels.
Tasting Notes
We haven’t had the pleasure of trying it yet — no one has! — but we’re anticipating notes of dark chocolate, espresso, and crème brûlée coursing through every thick, syrupy quaff. Dried fruit nuances and woody spice should carry after, further obscuring the 17.3% ABV.
