A Note on This Beer
In photography, the “aperture” is the opening of the camera lens.
In craft brewing, Aperture is Ex Novo’s staple New England-style Pale Ale — a pillowy, thirst-quenching feat with just a snapshot of bitterness.
It’s like looking through a lens into the big, bold world of IPAs, but being gifted with a more easygoing 5.2% ABV Pale Ale, complete with brightly tropical aromatics from late-addition Mosaic and Simcoe Hops.
If big IPAs are fire, then this Pale Ale is a straight up sip of sunshine!
And man, is it refreshing as heck.
With punchy hints of melon, grapefruit, and pineapple playing on the tongue in each sip, this Hazy Pale Ale is one you could kick back with every day of the week if you wanted to. And, if the Untappd reviews are any indication, you wouldn’t be alone:
- “Another great Ex Novo creation. Will definitely have two.” @Blake M.
- “Tasty pale hazy with simcoe & mosaic. Sharp citrus resin. I could drink alotta these!” @Tim T.
- “Really bright and easy to drink. Sun stay out and virus go away.” @Ben H.
Yep, we’re all with Ben on that.
In the meantime, you can kick back with a bright sip of Aperture and get a glimpse of sunshine whenever you like.
