A Note on This Beer

Apiary Drip Honey Cream Double IPA has me buzzin’ with its creamy, milk and honey flavor. Seriously, I’m bee-side myself enjoying this double dry-hopped nectar!

Let’s comb through the delicious details: the brewers created this dreamy double using barley, wheat and oat malts, plus additions of local honey and milk sugar. Every time you take a gulp, a rounded, thick mouthfeel and kiss of smooth, honeyed sweetness greet the palate!

Take a few more tastes, and you might start to catch a little buzz from its boozy 8.4% ABV! Which is well masked by flavors of lush mango, citrusy clementine, and sumptuous berry from Strata, Simcoe, Sabro, Simcoe Cryo, and Sabro Cryo Hops.

I’m not the only one who’s been stung with Apiary Drip devotion. Craft fans rate this fresh release an un-bee-lieveably high 4.30 on Untappd!

It comes from the collaborative hive minds of the GABF medal-winning Modist Brewing and Growler Mag’s Readers’ Choice winner, Dangerous Man Brewing!

It's a well balanced flavor with a warm honey smell. The aroma of honey hits first followed by a smooth Mango opening flavor, and finishing with medium citrus at the back of the tongue.

I bought this beer for the collaborating breweries. I was disappointed that I did not buy more than one can. Nice hop profile...smooth, honey involvement was obvious but not overbearing.

Dry hopped, creamy aroma. Sweet, aromatic, bright, floral flavors with a sweetly bitter finish. This one is complex and big and delicious. Never tried something like this before, but I’ll definitely be seeking out more.

Displays great balance. On the sweet side, naturally, but it's reigned in by the 'cream'. Body is a bit thin and the finish is short. Not sure about the nose, flowery but metallic.
