The celebrated Chicago crew took their malty, boozy, deliciously complex beer and aged it in American apple brandy barrels!
Tasting Notes
That spirit-soaked oak adds a kiss of crisp pomme fruit to the caramel and toffee depths of the base beer. Hints of oak meld beautifully with a subtle tartness, brightening the flavors of plum and raisin and making the 15.8% ABV even smoother!
