A Note on This Beer
Colorado craft fans got their first taste of today’s citrusy, dreamsicle-like sipper at 4Noses’ rockin’ Five Year Anniversary party. There were food trucks, live bands, even a disc golf competition — it was quite the celebration!
But the juiciest hit of the whole shindig? Today’s mouth-watering Apricot Velvet Milkshake IPA brewed with vanilla beans, lactose, and nearly 25lbs of apricot puree in every barrel.
We didn’t make it to the party (our invite clearly got lost in the mail), but that doesn’t mean we can’t still have a little fun! So we flew out to Colorado and snagged a few cases to share.
And even if the only thing you’re celebrating is the arrival of the weekend, a can or two of this 6.5% ABV peachy treat will turn any Netflix-binging occasion into a partayyy!
This brand-spankin’ new brew is the freshest addition to the GABF award-winners’ 4+ UT rated Milkshake IPA series. Canned just days ago, Apricot Velvet is already earning gallons of juicy praise:

Pop the top on today’s stonefruit-soaked sipper and get the party started as aromas of peach, nectarine and tangy citrus billow from the thick-as-OJ pour. Take a sip and layers of ripe apricot and juicy mango swirl around bursts of sweet vanilla. Hints of papaya and citrus zest mingle with notes of pithy grapefruit as even more apricot juiciness overtakes the palate.
A final sip reveals flavors of real vanilla bean and the addition of lactose imparts a mouthfeel so thick and creamy, you’ll never want the party to end.
Apricot Velvet was canned on 6/12/19 and is already rated a 3.97 on UT from the lucky folks who snagged a taste!
