About This Beer
True Respite’s Animal Lager series is renowned across Maryland and beyond. Each beer explores different versions of the classic style. To craft this one, they started with a traditional Pils for a bready base to build upon, then they hopped Arctic Fox with Motueka and Bru-1 for a subtle, tropical twist on the classic style!
Tasting Notes
Rich baguette flavors lead each sip before luscious currents of pineapple and tangy lime splash across the palate. A refreshing herbal grassiness carries after before a clean, snappy finish.

This beer was way too bitter for when you are expecting a crisp pilsner. I don't know if it was the pineapple or just a bad batch, but I can't recommend it to anyone, which is a shame because I had such high hopes for it.
