About This Beer
Plan Bee’s flagship beer is their Barn Beer, which utilizes all farm-grown ingredients within a stone’s throw of the brewery. But, in the name of craft experimentation and something you’ve likely never tried, they added dark-roasted barley for this Dark Sour Ale, complete with terroir-focused funk and a touch of chocolate sweetness at the finish.
Tasting Notes
Wheat and barley lend a lip smackingly crisp brightness, cut with light, bittersweet cacao notes from the roasted barley on the finish. A hint of honey lingers after the sip, which is natural – there’s real farm grown honey used to ferment the brew!

Very unique beer. So much going on here. A little funky, a t
