Welch’s grape juice up front, standard tart finish. No transition or layering of flavors, no complexity, and not balanced. I almost wish there was some heat from the 8.2% ABV or something else to make this beer more interesting.

All I get from this is bubbly wine. Was definitely hoping for more of something that really said “beer” still but couldn’t find it. I wouldn’t go looking for this one again, but also wouldn’t avoid it either.

I personally liked this. When I was a kid we’d have sparkling grape juice in place of sparkling wine and this beer is reminiscent of that. Tastes like a sparkling sour grape juice.

Smells just like grape jelly. Very smooth and almost effervescent. I don’t pick up much vanilla but the grape notes are really nice. Smooth finish as well.

Look: grape colored with finger size head and no lacing Smell: Concord grapes, a bit of malt and a hint of vanilla Taste: Concord grape, a hint a hint of vanilla and a tiny trace amount of malt. Sour forward with no tracing of sour on the end. No hard acidity in the sour. Feel: sour, little carbonation. The mouthfeel is not very full and diminishes quickly making it more refreshing Interesting beer. The grape domination of flavor and aroma really makes this more like a table wine than a beer. There is little malt and a lot of fruit with a little sour, making more like something I would drink on Sunday morning at church than Saturday night partying.
