About This Beer

The Seattle legends at Fremont crafted this showstopper by blending Strong Ales barrel-aged 12 and 24 months in 12 to 15-year-old bourbon barrels. Over six years in the cellar mellowed the 14% ABV until it was as smooth as drinking chocolate — and just as rich!

Tasting Notes

Nuances of creamy mocha and whiskey caramel cascade through every velvety quaff. Cherry cordial tones swirl underneath before a kiss of vanilla oak on the finish.

It’s very good. It’s straight barrel and licorice up front. It rolls into dark chocolate. Lots of hype to this brewery. Mostly holds up to hype.

6 years did this guy good. the flavors were so deep and rich. Any of the sweetness that’s there with a newer B-Bomb was replaced by a boozy, almost smokey flavor. Aging works!
