About This Beer
The Seattle legends crafted this showstopper by blending Strong Ales barrel-aged 9, 12, and 24 months in 8 to 12-year-old bourbon barrels. Additional time in the cellar mellowed the 13% ABV until it’s as smooth as drinking chocolate — and just as rich!
Tasting Notes
Each velvety sip courses with creamy, dark cocoa and caramel macchiato notes before easing into whiskey-kissed cherry cordial on the finish.

Decadent, maybe my favorite of the 2017 Fremont series. Tried alongside 3 Dark Star variants from the same year and it stood out apart from the stouts (and not just because it’s.... not a stout). Rich, sweet, not overly spiced but balanced very well.
