About This Beer
When the Other Half crew sets out to make a beer that tastes like a cookie, they don’t mess around. They go straight to the source, loading their mash tun with heaps of actual cookies! If this beer wasn’t already a liquid, you’d be tempted to dunk it in milk.
Tasting Notes
It really does taste like a cookie, but with added nuances of coffee and a touch of caramel from the bourbon barrels. With its decadently thick, almost chewy mouthfeel, you’ll barely notice the towering 16% ABV.

Loved it, could definitely taste the nuts and peanut butter but it was not overwhelming. Very smooth and easy to drink. I did not think it was too sweet, perfect for me.

the cookie based one was really sweet, maybe too much so, but still a good dessert beer to share.

Wow, Vega was amazing. Sweet and thick and flavorful. One of the best of this kind I’ve ever had. Cygnus was very good too, somewhat unusual with the peanut flavor. I preferred Vega and wish we could rate them separately.

My favorite deep orbit to date, Oreo without being super sweet or covering nice melding of the barrel treatment.

chocolate nose, dense chocolate and cookie taste, thick as oil, gentle warming, not boozy at all for 16%

This was delightful. Great BBA stout, complex, slight heat from the booze, and just sweet enough to remind you of the other flavors. I’m a big fan of Other Half’s BBA beers after trying this.

Boozy - but at 16% it was always going to be. Not really picking up on the adjuncts either. Good stout, glad I tried it, but I won’t be getting it again.
