About This Beer
To make it, the Icarus crew started with a Milk Stout base brewed with an “overwhelming amount of cocoa and rich black malts.” Then they let it lounge in Four Roses and Knob Creek Bourbon Barrels for a whole 30 months before conditioning on cacao, Madagascar vanilla beans, and marshmallows.
Tasting Notes
The sumptuous dark pour invites you in with breathtaking aromas of dark chocolate. The sip follows, where notes of fudge, caramel-drizzled dates, and crème brûlée cozy up in a bed of roasty malts.
