A Note on This Beer
I’m not a great baker, but that’s fine with me. I can turn to The Bruery whenever I need a delicious pastry!
These 7x GABF Medalists know how to bake — er, I mean, BREW a seriously decadent Pastry Stout. They’ve crafted a slew of delectable desserts, like Mounds of Coconut, Chocolate Rain, and Banana Bread.
And on today’s menu, we have quite the treat! Bakery: Oatmeal Cookie is a Bourbon Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout brewed with old-fashioned oats — made to taste just like the cookies ma’ used to make!
The brewers stuffed this mouthwatering 10.2% ABV indulgence with all the classic cookie fixin’s: warming cinnamon, tender raisins, and crunchy granola. It’s a full-bodied delight that expertly balances sweetness, spice, and warm chocolatey goodness.
I crack open the can, and fresh-from-the-oven aromas of cookies billow up from the silky pour. I take a sip, and it’s like I’m back in mom’s kitchen stealing tastes of the chewy, rich batter right off the spoon.
If you’re as kitchen-challenged as I am — or if you’re just worn out on baking all your own treats — what’s the harm in sneaking a can or two of Oatmeal Cookies for yourself, am I right?
