About This Beer
Not only did the WA wonders at Wander use the same rich, cocoay base as their fan-favorite Balance, they also loaded it with coffee! In honor of their newly opened ROAM coffee and beer house, they layered this edition with Honduran and Peruvian coffee beans from local Forecast Coffee. A year of aging in bourbon barrels only adds to the decadence.
Tasting Notes
Every sip brims with sumptuous cold brew nuances kissed with dark chocolate, gorgeously marrying the malty base for a sip like an artisanal mocha. Swirls of whiskey caramel carry underneath, all hiding the 9.8% ABV.

really thin. hints of barrel and the coffee is solid. little chocolate flavors throughout.

Good balance of the coffee and barrel-aging. Not overly sweet nor thick, but quite drinkable.

I love coffee beers and this bbl aged coffee stout comes in at a sessionable under 10% abv. great coffee flavors, roasty but not too dry.
