About This Beer

To make this banana pudding-inspired brew, the crew at Newgrass reached for the exact same ingredients a southern grandma would use to make the classic dessert.

We’re talkin’ heaps of real banana puree and actual Chessmen butter cookies that they added to the mash. Then, they topped it off with gooey marshmallow, silky vanilla, and a ribbon of creamy lactose.

incredible. I stocked up on a few banana sours and this one EASILY steals the show. Despite being 8% the ABV is well balanced and this tastes like a gourmet banana pudding in a can. Still has delightful hints of Malt, keeping that beer flavor in there.

This is DANGEROUS. Tastes like a fresh made banana smoothie. Not much “sour” to speak of for the purists, but I’m not complaining. A perfect combination.

Bloody outstanding; a banana lover’s dream sour to be sure! It smells and tastes precisely like an old-fashioned banana pudding layered with whipped cream and Nilla Wafers - just like mom used to make.

It's like someone boozed up grandma's banana pudding. Absolutely would get again. Don't forget to slow roll the can as the puree settled. I actually stirred it after the pour, and it was fantastic.
