About This Beer
Today’s BBA Stout is a pretty lucky beer — it got to spend the entire first half of the pandemic snuggly slumbering in Old Fitzgerald bourbon barrels from Heaven Hill Distillery. Then it spent the second half snoozing away in Interboro’s cellar.
It basically hibernated through the entire ordeal!
Tasting Notes
This brew will delight Stout fans with deep layers of whiskey caramel and oaky vanilla! Roasty coffee notes combine with rich baker’s chocolate, creating a mocha-licious flavor profile that leads to a long, slightly nutty finish.

I enjoyed this but something tasted a little off, as though the flavors weren’t able to mature to their fullest or something. Wasn’t bad, but could have been better.

Very smooth stout base with nice notes of coffee and chocolate. Bourbon-barrel aging works very well.
