Old Irving’s annual Krampus release is a staple in the Chicago craft scene. After 5 years of Krampus, Windy City faithful rate every vintage of this beast a massive 4.2 or higher. It’s a monster the city welcomes back with open arms every December! This time around, the crew started by stashing away their Milk Stout base in Buffalo Trace bourbon barrels for 12 months. Then, they added in classic lacings of vanilla and cacao nibs, before enhancing it further with Saigon cinnamon and chilis for a spiced pour of near-black magic, with a touch of scintillating heat!
