Dark and sweet with very little bitterness. The marshmallow is noticeable but not overpowering. It's *almost* a dessert beer, but it's definitely a meal replacement.

This beer is absolutely amazing. I prefer to let this beer sit out a little after the initial pour. When sitting out the strong bourbon smell diminished and the aroma of vanilla/marshmallow is pronounced. After taking that initial sip, the boozyness hits you first followed my a smooth velvety finish. As the beer hits you palate, your taste buds go crazy and you can taste that s’mores flavoring. I am able to taste marshmallow, chocolate, and vanilla. I am glad I purchased six of these. Now trying to figure what dish I can pair this with. I’m thinking of a gourmet pizza!

Really was expecting more from White Elm. This did NOT hit the mark.

Loved it. Was worried that it would be too sweet but it had nice balance.

I think I would enjoy the non barrel aged version better. It’s just a little too strong and a little too sweet. If there was less ABV I think it would have been better. I did enjoy it very much, just not as much as I thought I would have.

This is an excellent beer and as advertised. That BA and marshmallow compliment each other very well. My only criticism is that is has a bit of a burnt finish. Probably from the malt. Very nice beer though.

really tasty. great roasty & creamy fluff flavors. maybe slightly metallic on the back end(?) but not enough to affect my enjoyment. really nice overall

like a boozy fluffer nutter sandwich. doesn’t say peanut butter, but there seems to be a slight hint of some.
