So boozy and malty. Chocolate throughout. The extra year of age did it well.

I drank this one on Christmas Day, and it was a delightful treat. It was sweet, which I was expecting, but thankfully not overly sweet. Had a nice undertone of Carmel as well.

Wry enjoyable! Rich, barrel aged and caramel.

Maybe a tad oversweet for my liking, but the barrel adds a really unique twist. Toffee really evident. Candy-like nose. Very boozy, overall. Good sipper.

A little thick and sweet, I probably should have let this sit for a year. Also I am not big on barrel aged fan, but I tasted the potential.

Barrel aged lager, better than a non BA lager

Boozy, sweet, bourbon and plums.

There was a sweet spice I did not like. The beer was well made, but I could not get past the sweet spice.

I apparently did not know what a holiday lager was, so was surprised by what came out. It was a nice surprise, though, and while a full bottle was a bit much for one, it was a good share with small pours.

Boozy. Malty like a lager. A bit of chocolate on the finish as it warms.

Toffee and caramel notes. Definitely sweet but a delicious sipper.

Boozy and malty up front, lightens to a sweet vanilla, clove and nutmeg. Lingers sticky and heady, a great holiday grog.
