This beer smells the way Santa’s kitchen probably smells after Mrs. Claus makes dessert: warm, cozy, and deliciously spiced. And yeah, there’s some whiskey in there too, but Mrs. Claus works hard! She’s entitled to the occasional nip if she wants!

This was delicious. Def the best Hoppin Frog I’ve ever had and a really solid holiday brew. The spices were large and the barrel elevated everything.

16 ounce can. Hazy, garnet colored pour. No head. Rich, toasted malt aroma hints at cinnamon. Flavor brings notes of black pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and strong whiskey. A big push of warming alcohol completes this holiday bomb. It’s a bit rough around the edges, so a bit of aging might mellow this one out.
