About This Beer
For this one, the NYC wild cards started with a tangy base aged in BLIS maple syrup bourbon barrels for a whopping 22 months. Then they conditioned it on blueberry, raspberry, and cranberry before finishing it on raspberry coffee.
Tasting Notes
Juicy bramble fruit leads every decadently thick and creamy swig with hints of earthy cranberry and vanilla latte underneath. Bright, jammy notes mingle with baking spice tones and char from the barrels, giving the impression of sweet mulled wine. A hint of treacly maple carries on the finish.

An absolute five out of five, without a doubt one of the best hours we’ve ever had. A very jammy and rich flavor followed by a sour punch.

Never had a beer anything like this. Pretty strong coffee bean flavor, sweet from the maple bourbon, would like more barrel flavor.

unlike any beer I’ve ever tasted, smuckers jam dumped on maple pancakes with a dollop of oaky bourbon…pure genius! big ups Etwin!

First barrel aged sour I have had and it did not disappoint. Big tart fruity flavors up front with a pleasant coffee sweetness on the finish. Very well done.

Absolute banger. I regret that I didn’t buy my full allotment of this one. Complex, tart, fruity, jammy, creamy, and absolutely delicious.
