About This Beer
After maturing for 24 months in Stranahan’s Irish Whiskey barrels, the Imperial Stout base came out as smooth as silk and incredibly nuanced.
Tasting Notes
Aromas of milk chocolate and nougat waft out of the glass to greet you paired with a stone fruit brightness. The soft, full-bodied sip swirls with rich shades of amaretto, light caramel, and cocoa, while glimmers of marshmallow and golden raisin peek in around the edges. By the time you reach the hint of fruity light roast coffee in the finish, you’ll be smacking your lips in satisfaction.
Just watch out — all that dessert-worthy complexity seamlessly camouflages the 13% ABV!
