About This Beer
For this vintage, the Cerebral crew started with a rich and roasty base, then aged it for 12-34 months in a blend of 8-10 yearr grape brandy barrels, 12 year Elijah Craig bourbon, Wild Turkey bourbon, and Mythology 10 year rye barrels. Next, to make it taste like a morning meal, they conditioned the brew on a custom blend of coffee and maple syrup!
Tasting Notes
It really does taste like a spread you’d find at your local pancake cafe, with a beautiful balance of roasty coffee and sweet syrup flavors. Hints of vanilla from the barrels recall a fluffy shortstack, but nuances of top shelf whiskey (and a massive 14.5% ABV) will remind you that this is all beer, baby!

Loads of maple and coffee with lots of boozy bbls. Less than 2 months in bottle. Could age into something less OTT...over-the-top.

Great coffee nose draws you in for a taste. Well balanced between bitter coffee on the front of your palate and sweet maple flavor on the back end. Really closer to a 4.4 Really

Heaviest flavors are dark chocolate and bourbon. The maple syrup is more subtle but comes through especially at the end. Phenomenal beer.
