And today, you have a shot at Mikkeller’s newest addition to the Beer Geek Imperial Stout lineup. It’s called Peanut Butter Shake, and its creamy depths flow with luxurious nuttiness!

In addition to peanut butter, the brewers amped up this silky creation with coffee and cocoa nibs. Chocolate-swirled peanut butter greets the palate upfront, leading to deep layers of roasty espresso. It’s like a mocha blended with Reese’s Pieces!

With all these desserty flavors, that 11.8% ABV sips down shockingly smooth, too. The boozy warmth is there, but it remains subtle until you’re about halfway down the can.

On that note, it’s a good idea to save this sipper for the end of a long day. Then, you can bask in its layered decadence all night!

I love every component in this brew: stouts, chocolate, coffee, peanut butter. Something about this doesn't quite work though. Too heavy on the coffee. Can't taste the peanut butter. Okay, but disappointing for this style.

I was pretty disappointed with this craft. Don't get me wrong, it was a decent beer. I was just expecting more of a peanut butter taste and this just didn't deliver. Tasted more like a thick and rich regular stout.

Roasty, malty, sweet, big stout aroma. Definitely sweet on the palate with a lot of coffee and honestly, not all that much peanut butter. Sweet, sticky, big stout finish.

Daily corona battle. Tuesday of meetings the last one is a HH edition. I love and miss Mikkeller. This is crazy thick, cocoa bitter and boozy. PB is subtle, we’ll see if it pops a bit more with warmth. Otherwise a tasty yet standard Porter/stout.

Solid stout but the peanut is not present enough to equal the stoutness. So it is not well balanced as a “peanut butter stout”

Creamiest beer I have ever had in my life so far. It’s a great stout just no PB flavor what so ever.

Good roasted flavors and not that boozy. Good body. Didn’t taste much like PB which is a major plus. I prefer subtlety in this case.
