About This Beer
‘Guess who just got back today // Them wild-eyed boys that had been away’ - Thin Lizzy
It’s been two years in the making, but Elder Pine’s buzzworthy, 10% ABV Berry Chaser Imperial Saison is back!
Tasting Notes
This Maryland Craft Beer award-winning crew concocted a brew brimming with berries and then cranked the volume to 11! A jukebox’s worth of sweet blueberry and plump raspberry draw you in with a huge fruit aroma, giving each sip a blend of lip-smacking tartness and smooth sweetness!
Bushels of ripe black currant provide depth with a grape-like quality that seamlessly blends into the Saison’s naturally dry, lightly funky finish. All that big flavor balances out the dangerously drinkable 10% ABV.

This is alright, but for me it didn’t live up to the hype.

A rush of tart and dry berries, some spice, and light malt that makes an appearance towards the finish. The alcohol doesnt hide in this excursion making it a bit more of a rough ride.

Subtle. The berries and black currant are more subtle than expected. The alcohol will knock you off your chair.

gotta let it warm up to have the right experience. great flavors from the fruit but light saison finish

Pours cloudy red with a ton of foam that quickly disappears. Smells like berries and a bit floral. Light taste, a little bit sour - nice balance between the sour currants and blueberries.

I’d say this is a more Boosie drink with hints of tart and fruit. More of a wine after taste than a beer.
