About This Beer
Mikeller Baghaven crafted this rustic, oak-fermented Wild with a base of heirloom purple naked barley. They aged it for eight months prior to bottling, and now it’s been maturing in their cellars for a couple years, developing even more delicious complexity.
Tasting Notes
Pop the bottle, and tangy stone fruit, white pepper, and hay aromas invite you in for a taste. Brilliant notes of apricot, lemon pith, and sour plum follow in the sip, atop distinctive hints of nutty grain. Wood and bitter herbal undertones lend it a subtle funkiness ahead of a dry finish.
