About This Beer
For Birthday Four, the Ingenious crew started with a cocoay Stout which they double barrel aged in Jack Daniels and Irish Whiskey barrels for a full 15 months! Then they conditioned it on actual birthday cake, rich chocolate frosting, and luscious vanilla beans.
Tasting Notes
Deep, velvety cascades of chocolate ganache, spiced cake, and bourbon creme anglaise course through every decadent quaff. Whiskey caramel and sweet, oak-kissed cocoa carry on the end.

I enjoy sweet beer, but the Whiskey was just too much for me. My first drink immediately brought me back to a guy I knew in high school in 1996. His name was Matt and his friend was called Jack. I have two more cans so I will give it another honest try later in winter now that I know what I'm up against. Chocolate beer whiskey shots, wink wink.

Almost tasted like it has whiskey in it. Not my favorite, too strong for me.
