About This Beer
For this decadent Imperial Stout, the WeldWerks crew started with a rich, chocolatey base. Then, they aged it for 20 months in the crème de la crème of barrels: Old Forester 2020 Birthday Bourbon!
This unbelievably limited batch was a very special 150th anniversary edition of the distillery’s birthday bourbon. Which is to say nothing of how ridiculously rare the barrels are!
Tasting Notes
Each full-bodied quaff carries immeasurable depth — decadent dark chocolate swirls with whiskey vanilla, golden caramel, and rich, oaky char.

I'm pleasantly surprised by this one! The barrel sings and isn't muddled by adjuncts. Crazy viscosity too.

My first Weldwerks and I am not a fan. Zero head. Tasted old. Overly sweet. Tasted like slightly spoiled, melted ice cream with a hint of a bourbon finish. Did not finish. Definitely not worth the money.
