About This Beer
For this decadent Imperial Stout, the WeldWerks crew started with a rich, chocolatey base. Then, they aged it for 20 months in the crème de la crème of barrels: Old Forester 2020 Birthday Bourbon!
This unbelievably limited batch was a very special 150th anniversary edition of the distillery’s birthday bourbon. Which is to say nothing of how ridiculously rare the barrels are!
Each full-bodied quaff carries immeasurable depth — decadent dark chocolate swirls with whiskey vanilla, golden caramel, and rich, oaky char.
Thick Rich Barrel Aged Decadent Oaky
I'm pleasantly surprised by this one! The barrel sings and isn't muddled by adjuncts. Crazy viscosity too.
this had a hint of grape, possibly a bad quality don't age this one, drink fresh
Pretty solid, flavors are all over the place though.
it’s a noche, it’s fine
great, rich flavor, but could have used a bit of carbonation
Soy saucy. Terrible.
solid stout. sugar cookies definitely shine
My first Weldwerks and I am not a fan. Zero head. Tasted old. Overly sweet. Tasted like slightly spoiled, melted ice cream with a hint of a bourbon finish. Did not finish. Definitely not worth the money.
thick as hell and slightly fruity
robust and thicc as per the usual with weldworks
Very bourbon forward, sweet & thick.
wow. straight gas. low carbonation. super thick in the glass. bourbon barrel flavor for days
bottle was flat
No better way to celebrate a birthday!
barrel breaks up the overly sweet base
not sure if 2 bad bottles, but this was undrinkable. tasted like sweet soy
Thick & Rich. massive flavor
disappointed waste of 35 bucks. call this one kikkoman because it’s straight soy . poured down drain
dumped most of it. too barrely and too thick.
