About This Beer
Elder Pine brewed this traditional pub style with a blend of three choice British malts and East Kent Golding Hops for authentic UK flavors.
Tasting Notes
Each malty quaff contains the comforting, subtly sweet nuances of fresh brown bread, toasted almonds, and shortbread biscuits. Hints of coffee and raisins flow underneath, while the balancing resinous hop character makes for an extra-satisfying pithy finish.

Really herbal and malty

A pretty good ESB. The hop is a wee bit sharp, but doesn’t destroy the overall depth and complexity of the brew.

Dark brown pour, thin, creamy beige head. Malty aroma, light sweetness, brown bread. Taste is malty, mildly sweet and a touch dry. Smooth.

Foamy head, dark amber hue, toasted almond aroma, subtle cookie taste with brown bread notes, creamy mouthfeel, and a spicy hops and rye finish.

Is this completely traditional… no. Is this a great modern take.. yes! The bready and slightly choco malt flavor combined with some hop brightness brings depth and freshness! I would drink this all the time if regularly available.
