Black Butte Cubed is what you get when the crew at Deschutes takes the mash from their legendary Black Butte Porter, distills it into whiskey, ages it in oak barrels, and then refills those barrels with a fresh batch of Black Butte Porter.
Did you follow all that? It’s tricky! It’s like Butte-ception!
Tasting Notes
The sip overflows with notes of chocolate and whiskey, with just a touch of oak on the back end. Hints of roasty coffee and rye bread swirl through the finish, and it’s all capped off with a belly-warming 15.1% ABV.
