About This Beer
The Alaskan legends blended Stouts aged one to two years in hand selected bourbon barrels. Then they finished the blend on Madagascar vanilla beans plus raw and toasted coconut.
Tasting Notes
Opulent cascades of cocoa and coconut anglaise coat the tongue with each sip. It’s like a bite of whiskey soaked German chocolate cake drizzled with silky caramel. Decadent dessert flavors leave no trace of the enormous 15.5% ABV.

Sweet as hell, as advertised, tons of coconut and vanilla.

Good flavors and solid mouthfeel but way too sweet imo. throws off the balance. Not a bad beverage by any means can only drink a few oz. Sadly, a shadow of its former batch.

Lava Cake unfolds into ice cream with marshmallows on top. The finish begs for more and more sips as coconut and marshmallow linger. At 15.5% it’s not hot at all, but just enough Bourbon to show off it is BA. Easily my top 3 or if not my favorite BA Stout with adjuncts. So happy I got four.

extremely close to the original. still has that thick body, waffle cone smell and taste, with a chocolate finish and a touch of barrel heat.

amazing.... The liquid is different first. It has a high viscosity like a chocolate drink and is smooth like silk. It has a rich and elegant taste of Sachertorte. The liquor and chocolate are in harmony to the artistic level, and no, this is really ... (just a puzzle)
