A Note on This Beer

On Source Brewing’s opening day, herds of beer lovers showed up in such large numbers, the brewery had to start offering free valet service to park peoples’ cars off-site!

Perhaps it’s the authentic farm-to-glass experience that got folks excited. Or, maybe it’s brewery owner Philip Petracca’s appearance on Shark Tank with his home beer-dispensing invention that sparked the hype.

Whatever the driving force, craft fans knew that high-quality brews would be pouring out of this barn-turned-brewery.

To this day, the excitement has stayed at a fever pitch! Especially when you’re talking about beers like today’s Blond Abbey Belgian Blond.

Every sip of this effervescent delicacy tastes like a lightly-toasted biscuit, drizzled with organic honey, and topped with fresh slices of d’Anjou pear.

On the forefront, hints of chamomile and dried dandelions from the hops tango on the taste buds. At sip’s end, a hint of malt and a dash of fruity, floral Belgian yeast character invites another medium-bodied swig.

Now, only one question remains: are you ready to hop aboard the Source hype-train with this delectable Belgian?

With Tavour, it's easy to beer it forward! Just head over to Tavour.com/gifts to send a gift box or gift card to the craft beer lover in your life. Cheers!

This was yummy. Teetering on the edge of IPA level hoppiness, without falling over. I don't like IPAs, and I found this drinkable and different. I'd buy again.

It is close enough to style if you know your Belgians to garner a compliment. I could drink a few if given the opportunity. Nice choice Tavour

Nice Belgian flavor without being too heavy-handed with the wheat. I want a whole case!

Good for the style. Creamy but sharp with a great nose of hay and bittering.

Nice blonde, had a little extra to it and wasn’t almost a lager like most blonde beers

A lovely example of its type. Dry and crisp but still soft and rich. Goes very well with food.

Incredible foamy head, nutty flavor and very smooth. Not at all heavy but plenty of malt. Overall very hard to beat for its drinkable qualities.

Spicy Blonde Ale, more of a winter beer. Not bad but wouldn't purchase again.

The fruity spicy hops make this a bit too bitter for me but definitely had some good taste to it.
