2016 — That’s the year this vintage was released. Which means, it spent the last 5 years in Fremont’s cellar, where its rich chocolate, oaky vanilla, and roasty espresso flavors have become deeper and more complex with every passing day. 

4.48 — The unbelievable Untappd rating for this brew. Obviously, Dark Beer fans are head over heels for this whiskey-kissed Stout. The folks on BeerAdvocate are just as enamoured; they list Dark Star as the #4 highest ranked Oatmeal Stout on earth!

14.5% — A seriously boozy ABV! Of course, you’ll barely detect it in this silky, cellared Stout. It’s too well obscured by layers of fudge and hints of barrel char.

18, 12, and 8 — That’s how long this brew aged in Kentucky Bourbon Barrels. Then, the masters at Fremont blended the different ages together, creating a mosaic of whiskey caramel flavors that slide towards candied date on the finish.

120 — How many bottles we have. Once they’re gone, who knows when (or if) we’ll ever see this 2016 vintage again!
