To create it, the California crew aged their burly Barleywine base for a full year in Buffalo Trace and Heaven Hill bourbon barrels until the 12.2% ABV behemoth oozed aromas of candied nuts and sticky toffee. You’ll taste gooey caramel, sweet vanilla, and honeyed oak. A whisper of barrel char flirts with the palate on the finish, enticing you for another full-bodied sip.
