About This Beer
The GABF-winning brewers at pFriem crafted Bourbon Barrel Imperial Stout with six different specialty malts and Chinook Hops for a decadent and complex brew. They added lactose for a silky smooth, full body. And, after a ten month beauty rest in bourbon barrels, the brew emerged even more captivating than before.
Perfumed with aromas of spice and oak, the toasty malt takes on a sweetly maple-like fragrance. Each sip laughs with ripples of chocolate mousse and roasted cherries, intriguing you with winks of hazelnut, leather, and tobacco in the finish.
